Christmas holiday

 Hi bloggers this year Ruru has been reading with kotuku and my buddy Mia i and she red her story to me and I will blog it for her I hope you enjoy it bye.

For Christmas I am going to a holiday to Kaiteriteri. I am leaving on midnight on the 19th of December I am so excited but I have to open my Christmas presents when I come back from Blenheim after Kaiteriteri. I am going to Blenheim we are going to the Kaiteriteri beach and Blenheim beach. I love holidays. 

My camp movie

 Hi bloggers this week I did a camp movie for inquiry. I learn't how to use the audio and how to use the text and not to use the premium one and use the free one. I think I did  good on my movie even though I forgot the auction but I will add it in later. I thought the hardest thing to learn was to put in photos because I didn't know how to use it at first but then someone came and helped me. But I kept on forgetting but I got the hang of it and I don't think I have any questions about my learning. Next time I'm going to try and use some transitions and add more videos so I can make it better. I hope you enjoy please comment on my blog so byeee!!!

Camp recount

 Hi guy's as you might know last week on Wednesday everyone in Ruru went to camp! i'm going to tell you what I did at camp I can't wait to tell
you what happened cause it was so fun and exiting so I hope you enjoy :)

Things I did at camp 

This is how I got to camp and what I did at camp. Everyone in ruru started off at school everyone was waiting for the

bus and when the bus

got here everyone got in their groups and went in the bus.

I sat with my friend Mya on the bus. We were at the front of the bus because

I had motion sickness and after the bus ride we had to take a one hour hike I think.

I don’t remember the hike really hurt my legs but it was fine and my favorite part of the hike was when

we had to cross a creek. It was fun and Renae almost fell when we were crossing. When we were at

n ruru was tired but I don’t think sofi was tired. But after that we did orienteering. I got in a group of six.

I was with Renae, Lucas, Elise, Tayla, Daisy, and me. After that we got to have morning tea.

The morning tea was so good

everyone got a smoothie.

I tasted bananas, raspberries, and blueberries. It was so good and we had a pretty slice of cake.

I didn't really like it but it was still very pretty. After that everyone was able to go to their bunk

room’s and get to set their bunk up. It was really fun. I don't really remember what happened after that but

I did remember what everyone had for dinner. Everyone had curry, rice, beans, and chicken it was really good. 

The next day everyone got to do recreation games you're probably

wondering what recreation game was when you got to go on different things like the monorail

the zipline a trampoline and gaga ball (kinda like dodgeball)  after that everyone got to climb up

to a farm and do low rope’s, bouldering,

and learning about leafs. Then everyone got morning tea and lunch and we got burgers and chips for dinner.

I had to finish it

because it was so good. After that I got to watch a camp movie and do an auction. It was so fun and nice.

The next day everyone got to do the recreation games again. I played gaga ball. It was fun. A lot of people

joined in after that .

My friends went to play mini golf. I got a little bored so I left and went to sit by

myself and feel lonely and cry about how weird I am when I was done doing that it was lunch time

everyone got mac in cheese it was so amazing I got seconds then everyone had to go back to school.

Camp

 Hello bloggers did you know that next week all of Ruru is going to camp!!! its so exciting so that's why this week for reading is about camp. create task 1 and 2 is on paper so i'm just going to explain it to you so why don't we get to it.

My first create task was I had to get a map of turtle island the map had squares with
numbers 1-36 the first task was to show a fish in Ayton bay in square 26.
The second one was to draw a church with a tower in number 15 square there is a lot and it goes all the way to 10 so i'm just going to  tell two more. The third was to draw three mountains in square 16 where the river ob begins. I  think this enough of explaining for today bye.

This is my second create task what I had to do was I had to create
 my very own bunk label so I will know which bunk will be mine when I go to camp. So first I grabbed a blank label that I could design and put my name on 
I also grabbed a scrap piece of paper to write my name on I wanted to link my name
 so it would look cool and my reading teacher was doing a competition of who did the best looking
one and my reading teacher still did not tell the reading group who won so maybe she will tell us who won but I will never know so bye.

How Maui discovered fire

 Hello bloggers this week for reading I picked a book called How Maui discovered fire it was about a boy named Maui and he went to get some fire for the village he went inside a cave and he saw the goddess of fire and she gave Maui fire as a gift and he took it and pretended  to leave the cave but he went to a river and threw the fire in the water and he went to the goddess again to beg for more fire and the goddess gave him more fire but went back to the river and threw the fire in the water again and he did it over and over again but the goddess became angry at Maui and threw all her fire at Maui but she lost and had died and I that all so yeah I hope you enjoy  and if you have any questions please comment on my blog bye :)

Matariki

WALT: Summarise and analyse ideas and information from different texts. Hello bloggers this week is the Maori New Years and I hope all of you are celebrating but this week our create tasks were different because the theme was Matariki the seven sisters and I learn't that Matariki is a cluster not a constellation and the Matariki has a lot more stars because the Matariki cluster has 500 stars in the cluster family the Matariki is only about the seven stars because they are very bright and they can led you home.

Video #1: My first Matariki story was about two sisters that don’t get along but there mother told them a story about the Matariki stars that started with Ranginui and papatuanuku they made the seven sisters but the seven sisters were very annoying so parents asked Matariki to get her sisters so Matariki got her sisters and the parents got the sisters to do a task to stay.	Video #2: My second story of the Matariki stars was about people using the stars to guide them.
